Description
The construction this bazaar was stared during Nasser Od-din Shah by a French architect and was gradually developed during the next years. This bazaar is the largest in Iran and has the most expensive properties are also located in this area. This bazaar consists of many roofed intertwined crowded corridors which confuses new visitors like a maze. Even though this bazaar was fun to visit in the past, but it is now an unpleasant place due to over-population, air pollution, low quality Chinese counterfeit products and the new cultural atmosphere might be uninteresting for tourists. Although its close proximity to some major tourist attractions like Golestan Palace and the National museum you can walk by it.
