-
Description
Si o Se Pol is the most important bridge in Isfahan; it consists of 33 arches and was built by Allah Verdi Khan, a Georgian captive who later became a grate officer in Safavid army. It was the site for many festivals namely the Armenian Vardavar. Nowadays, there are concerns about the cracks in the arches, which are a result of the Zayandeh river drying up.
