Description

Built in 266 A.D. by a Syrian architect based of Hellenic style. Today only ruins remain of the 200-hectare town; although the remaining walls, engravings and a foundation stone can be interesting for visitors.

Problems

  1. Hard to access by public transportation.
  2. Most of it is destroyed due to lack of maintenance,
  3. Occasionally flock of sheep might pass through the ruins.
  4. The area next to the ruins is used as cemetery by the neighboring locals.
