Description
This complex was first built as a caravansary by the governor’s wife and other buildings such as a mosque, a water reservoir, a madrasah was added to it later; but after a while only the water reservoir, mosque and architect’s tomb survived. After the expansion of the city, a tekyeh (special building for Shia mourning ceremonies) was added to the complex, creating its current look. Previously one could go to the top of the tekyeh for a great view of the city, but entrance has been forbidden in the recent years.
The tekyeh provides a nice view for photography specially at night.
